Legal confusion and clarification.
Recently another new (like we haven’t got enough already) law was introduced re prostitution. Now as usual with anything supplying a bit of titillation the media, home office and even some should know better police inspectors have been touting various versions of doom and gloom because of it.
So to hopefully clear it up,from April the 1st
The new law states all clients must be sure they are purchasing sexual services from a sex worker who is not coerced. And as it is under strict liability, there is no get out clause of you not knowing.
Here it is in full http://www.opsi.gov.uk/acts/acts2009/ukpga_20090026_en_4#pt2-pb1-l1g14
Now Prostitution, visiting an escort, paying for sex, being dragged around the lounge on a lead while wearing fluffy pink marigolds and even enjoying yourself, as long as the lady is not coerced, all remain perfectly legal, and you are more likely to be imprisoned for lighting up in the doorway when having a post coital smoke.
I am proud to say, I am doing this of my own free will, and will continue to do so while enjoying it.
