Thanks to the powerboat racing and the scooter rally combined with the rain, I actually managed to get a couple of hours to myself last weekend, so by now hopefully you will have noticed that I have uploaded some new pictures and given the site a bit of a make over. As I type this, about 50,000 people are torn between Germany V Australia and a decent viewing position for Paul McCartney, for those that don’t know, this weekend is festival weekend again, and I have found that from about 8pm I can hear it clearly, not sure what the change is at that time but still. I don’t normally bother with it until the main headline acts as a lot of the new bands I just don’t recognize but this year we have had Blondie, and Steve Harley, maybe its my age but I don’t think Blondie was as good this year, trying to get in touch with my young and trendy side though I caught some of it on TV earlier, and while her music doesn’t exactly inspire me to jump out of my chair and start jumping around, I have to admit the entrance from Pink was pretty spectacular, not sure ill be recreating it any time soon, but I wouldnt mind a similar outfit.

In other news, while I was on holiday, having far too much time on my hands, I have been sketching out the draft layout for the site redesign, and hope to get started on that in the next week or so, if you can think of anything you would like to see/changed, drop me a line and ill see what I can do.

Well how can I not start a post without mentioning the rather warm weather of the last few days, while in someways its been lovley, in others not so good, my garden is starting to suffer, and as some of you know, I have recently started a new gym programme, (The Joy of Flex) and after getting all hot and sweaty in there, I look forward to a nice cool breeze when I leave, except thats not been happening the last few days
